Product Update 505 - Exact Globe+ and Exact Synergy
Microsoft SQL Server 2014, 2016, and 2017 are no longer supported
Exact Globe+ and Exact Synergy Enterprise will no longer provide support for Microsoft SQL Server 2014, 2016, and 2017.
This means that if you are currently using one of these versions, it is important to upgrade to a newer version of SQL Server to continue benefiting from full support and security updates.
Exact Globe+ entity services will use the Windows authentication protocol
The NTLM authentication protocol is no longer supported by Microsoft. Therefore, starting from product update 505, Exact Globe+ entity services will support a Windows authentication protocol called “Negotiate: Kerberos,” alongside the NTLM authentication protocol. This protocol offers enhanced security and reliability for your business processes.
Lazy loading setting introduced
In the latest version, Exact has added a Lazy loading checkbox. The default 'Lazy loading' setting ensures that resources are loaded gradually while scrolling, providing a smoother experience. If this option is disabled, all resources are loaded at once, which can slow down screen performance.
Information on project products and WBS lines added to Exact Globe+ bookings
Exact Globe+ has now added the 'Product' and 'WBS line' columns to various menu paths. These new columns provide clear insight into product codes, product descriptions, and WBS line descriptions, enabling more accurate and efficient project administration.
This update makes it easier to manage your project administration and offers more insight into your bookings. Having this information readily available allows you to work faster and more efficiently, leading to better decision-making and project management.
Uppercase and mixed case supported for layouts
With this product update, you can print the database field Total Amount in written text in lowercase, uppercase, and mixed case.
Correct allocation of Payment in Transit bookings when importing Rabobank NL MT940 files
In this product update, the system automatically skips cash receipts tagged with /PREF if you have enabled the Payment in Transit setting.
Exact Lightweight Integration Server (ELIS) scheduler for Professional Services Automation (PSA)
When configuring the ELIS PSA add-on, you must define the schedule frequency. This allows you to determine when to synchronize PSA bookings between Exact Globe+ and Exact Synergy Enterprise.
Improvements from Previous Updates:
VAT declaration for Digipoort year 2025 (Dutch legislation)
In this product update, the taxonomy version for the year 2025 has been updated with the new XBRL message header for VAT declarations, VAT corrections, and ICP declarations.
Function right: Edit cash flow transactions
In this product update, Exact has introduced the function right Edit cash flow transactions for the rights Cash flow under HR > Personnel > User rights.
Import of German e-invoice in ZUGFeRD format is now supported
To implement this, changes have been made in: 'Screen Financial' - 'Input' - 'Purchase' and 'Module CRM'.
Support for Azure Virtual Desktop
Since this product update, Exact Globe+ supports the use of Azure Virtual Desktop.
