QUBE Snow Event 2026

Arrival in a White Paradise

This year, we decided to head to the Alps at the end of January, hoping for true winter conditions. And we got exactly that. From the moment we drove into Stuben am Arlberg, we were surrounded by fresh snow and perfectly white slopes. Ski Arlberg, Austria’s largest ski area with 300 kilometers of pistes, immediately showed itself from its very best side.

A Flying Start to the Weekend

Early Saturday morning, fourteen colleagues departed from Rotterdam to Innsbruck. From there, a taxi bus took us to our hotel in Stuben. Our managing director Albert had driven out a day earlier and brought all our equipment with him — skis, snowboards, and boots. This not only saved us time but also a lot of hassle. At 10:15 a.m. we were ready at Hotel Mondschein and, after changing, we headed straight for the snow.

The First Descents and Lots of Enthusiasm

Anyone without their own equipment could easily rent it at the shop across from the hotel. For our beginners, a ski or snowboard lesson was arranged right away so everyone could get started immediately. The weather cooperated: partly cloudy, plenty of sunshine, and good visibility. After a few great runs, we settled down for lunch at a cozy BBQ mountain hut above Zürs. The tone was set.

Cozy Evenings and Tired Muscles

At the end of the afternoon, everyone returned to the hotel tired but satisfied. During dinner, the five beginners shared their first experiences — from unexpected successes to hilarious missteps. A few colleagues still had enough energy for a game of Hitster, but afterward, bed was calling. After all, another full day on the slopes awaited us.

Snow, Atmosphere, and Challenging Slopes

Sunday began with snowfall: a fresh layer of powder, though it sometimes caused limited visibility. This made the descents more challenging, but also more fun. With coffee breaks and an extended lunch in between, everyone held up well. It felt like pure winter sports: winter conditions, teamwork on the slopes, and plenty of good vibes.

Après-ski and Team Spirit

Monday resembled Sunday: fresh snow and clearings in the afternoon. At the end of the day, a group of colleagues gathered at the famous après-ski bar MooserWirt above St. Anton. It was the perfect ending to an active day. In the evening, we enjoyed another delicious dinner at the hotel.

Dream Conditions on the Last Day

Tuesday surprised us with bright blue skies and fantastic conditions. That meant: perfect pistes, great snow, and a stunning group photo. We enjoyed the final runs until three o’clock. After that, it was time to return to the hotel where the taxis were already waiting to take us to Innsbruck. At 6:45 p.m., we flew back to the Netherlands, landing safely at 8:00 p.m.

A Tradition to Be Proud Of

The QUBE Snow Event 2026 was one for the books. The perfect conditions, the new colleagues joining the QUBE Snowclub, and the strong team spirit made it unforgettable.

Next year, we’ll return to the snow in January once again. We’re already looking forward to it.
